CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — A two-car accident just north of Henderson killed one person and injured six others on Thursday night Robbin Manning, 24, was killed on Needmore Road just after 9 p.m. According to the preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Manning, of Luray, was a passenger in one of the vehicles. The preliminary report says the car Manning was in ran off the road while attempting to negotiate a curve in the road. The car then over-corrected back on to the roadway and ran headfirst into another car. Two of the injured passengers were infants. According to the responding trooper, safety belts would not have made a difference.
