Deputies: Car thief crashes car after high-speed chase

HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. — A suspected car thief leads Hardeman County deputies on a high-speed chase before crashing into a ditch. Deputies say Arthur-James Dennis stole a white Camry from Chester County and drove into Hardeman County. When officers caught up with him, they say Dennis sped off. They chased him for 30 minutes before Dennis lost control and crashed into a ditch outside of Hornsby. He’s being held on charges of auto theft and evading arrest. Deputies say no one was injured.
