Troopers arrest 9 for DUI over holiday weekend

NORTH JACKSON — The holiday weekend has so far resulted in nine DUI arrests and 16 crashes with injury, according to Lt. Brad Wilbanks of the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Two DUI arrests took place in Hardin County during the “no refusal” enforcement campaign, but both drivers volunteered for blood tests, according to Wilbanks. This report covers the agency’s Eight District, which includes Madison, Gibson, Weakley, Benton, Carroll, Henry, Decatur, Henderson, Chester, Hardin and McNairy counties.
