Jackson police investigate shooting
JACKSON, Tenn.–Jackson police confirm one person was shot around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the Mitchell Street area. Officers said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was transferred to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said they have not made any arrests.
