Jackson police investigate 2 overnight armed robberies

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Jackson police confirmed they are investigating two early morning armed robberies. Officers say the robberies happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday along 5th Street. Police said the suspects stole a television, a gun, cash and a cell phone from one of the victims. Officers said they have one person in custody. Police are still trying to determine if other people are involved. Investigators said no one was injured.
