West TN State Fair Opens
JACKSON, Tenn.- West Tennessee it is that time again as the smell of cotton candy and funnel cakes are in the air. Of course, that means the West Tennessee State Fair, which kicked off earlier Tuesday evening at Fairgrounds Park. This year features events like alligator wrestling, a monster truck show and of course the Banana Derby Race. Fair attendees said they are excited that the fair is back in town. “This is always a good place to see your friends and family and to come out and visit everyone,” said Melissa Williams, a fair attendee. The fair will continue through the weekend wrapping up Sunday.
