Suspect in U.S. Marshals shooting goes to grand jury, $1 million bond set

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man accused of shooting a U.S. Marshals task force officer last week returned to court today.

Claybrook Jr.

Bobby Joe Claybrook Jr. had a hearing this Thursday morning in Jackson City Court.

He is currently facing multiple counts of criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder and gun charges.

Claybrook’s case will now be heard by a Madison County grand jury.

His bond was set at $1 million.
