Deputies: woman claims she’s being chased by motorcycle gang, faces meth charges

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — An Oklahoma woman under the influence of meth is behind bars after she barges into a home, claiming she is being chased by a motorcycle gang, according to Henderson County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies said Crystal Casey is charged with criminal trespassing, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. They said she barged into a home on Highway 104 around 10 p.m. Wednesday, claiming Hell’s Angels were chasing her and threatening her life. Deputies believe she was not actually being chased. The homeowners, including a child, were in the home. Deputies said the woman in the home who called police sounded terrified. “She was scared. You could hear it in her voice. In fact, her voice was kind of quivering. She could not answer simple questions, due to the fear in her,” Captain Tracey Grisham with Henderson County Sheriff’s Department said. The homeowners said they do not know Casey. Casey, from Oklahoma, told deputies she was traveling through West Tennessee to South Carolina. They have not been able to figure out yet how she ended up at the home. “I’ve seen people under the influence of drugs act, we’ll call it strange, but not to this point very often,” Grisham said.
