JACKSON, Tenn.- The Jackson Firefighters Association donates a check for more than $4,000 this morning. The check was given to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Firefighters Association said firefighters went to different stores throughout Jackson to raise money for “Fill the Boot”. The group said the money helps hundreds of people. “We wouldn’t be where we are without them our firefighters, our private groups who donate. We wouldn’t be able to server our families without them at all,” said Cecily Barker of Mid-South MDA. The “Fill the Boot” presentation is a tradition the Firefighters Association participate every year.
