Deputies: Tipton Co. man arrested, marijuana found in home

TIPTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Tipton County Sheriff’s Deputies, carrying out a warrant, arrested a man after they said they found marijuana in his home. Deputies said they went to the home of Jonna Mathews, 59, to carry out a warrant for his arrest. While at the home they said they found approximately 11 grams of marijuana. He was charged with possession of a scheduled substance and the intent to sell. Mathews is free on $2,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear Oct. 21 in Tipton County General Sessions Court.
