Grant to pay for new hangar at McKellar-Sipes airport

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A government grant given to McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport is going toward the purchase of a hangar. The Jackson-Madison County Airport Authority is purchasing the airline hangar for around $250,000. The hangar will be used to bring in extra money to the airport. Officials say they are glad they are finally going to be able to go through with the purchase.
