Trenton takes step toward transportation history

TRENTON, Tenn. — The Gibson County Utility District broke ground Tuesday on a new natural gas refueling station. Utility officials said it will be the greenest in the state of Tennessee. Proponents of the fueling station say it will help clean up the environment by lowering the amount of carbon emission while preparing the area for this increasingly popular way to fuel vehicles. “Fueling with natural gas brings national security to America,” said Pat Riley, General Manager of the Gibson County Utility District. “It allows for a better lifestyle for Tennesseans.” The utility said it is solely funding the project.
