Car stolen in Brownsville burglary is found

BROWNSVILLE — A car stolen Monday after a Brownsville home burglary has been recovered, according to the Brownsville Police Department. The silver 2001 Dodge Neon was found Tuesday night in the backyard of an abandoned house thanks to WBBJ viewers, according to police. According to police reports, the burglars broke in through a back window and stole the car, a handgun, a Wii gaming system and two TVs, then got away in the stolen car.
