Mini-van crashed into Lexington Avenue house

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson police said a minivan crashed into a home on Lexington Avenue just after 9 p.m. Thursday night after officers tried to stop the driver. Police told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News they tried to make a routine stop, but the driver kept going. After about half a mile is when the van crashed into the home. No injuries were reported. Utility crews were called out after the smell of natural gas. No word on whether the driver could face charges.
