Nurse Wellness Walk helps community understanding

WEST JACKSON — Nurses of West Tennessee used their Saturday morning to show the public their role in the community. The Nurse Wellness Walk was hosted by the West Tennessee Practitioner Alliance and the Tennessee Nurses Association District 6. The walk started on Union University’s campus, and nearly 100 people attended. Organizers said the goal was to create awareness and educate the public about the role of nurses in the community. All money raised will go to support scholarships for nursing students.
