Supporters use flowers to raise funds for breast cancer

McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, a West Tennessee group is raising money with pink blooms. Members of CB&S Bank in McNairy County lined up mums along the highway in the shape of a ribbon. Other mums are out along the streets of Adamsville, Savannah and Selmer. They are grown by a local farmer and will bloom in about a week. So far, organizers said they have sold several hundred pink mums. Proceeds will go to support the Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center.
