Jackson man accused of assaulting girlfriend after she turns down ‘threesome’

WEST JACKSON — A Jackson man is accused of assaulting his girlfriend after she refused to “have a threesome” with him, according to court documents. Police responded to an apartment on Old Hickory Boulevard where a woman told them her boyfriend, Murisca D. Garrett, had knocked her down, pinned her to the ground and punched her in the mouth after she refused to “have a threesome” with him, the report states. Officers said they saw scratches around the victim’s neck and dried blood on her lip. The report goes on to state there is a history of domestic violence between to two. Garrett is charged with aggravated domestic assault. He is free on $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 3 for a preliminary hearing.
