JPD: Woman killed in North Jackson shooting

NORTH JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Police are investigating a deadly shooting inside a North Jackson home. Officers were called to a home on Cross Brook Cove just before 6 o’clock Monday evening. Investigators said a 58-year-old woman who lived at the home was found dead inside from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers said they are questioning a “principal witness” to try and determine the circumstances of the shooting. They also say they are not searching for a suspect at this time.
