One on the run after east Jackson wreck

EAST JACKSON, Tenn. – A wreck in east Jackson stalls traffic, leaves one driver injured and has the other driver on the run. Just before 8 p.m., Monday, Jackson police were called to the intersection of Phillips and East Chester Streets. Police said one of the drivers got out of her crashed car and ran from the scene. The other driver was taken by ambulance with what officers called non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not released the name of the woman who ran from the scene, but said they know who she is. It is unclear if criminal charges could be filed.
