MADISON COUNTY — After a mother is jailed for allegedly leaving her three children home alone for days with no food, the children’s father is now also wanted on child neglect charges. Michael Bane faces three counts of child neglect after police found a 13, 10 and 9-year-old home alone after they failed to show up for school last week. An aunt is now caring for the children. Michael Bane’s wife, Coty Bane, was charged Monday with three counts of child neglect. She is being held in lieu of $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 16.
