Crews respond to North Parkway wreck

WEST JACKSON — Crews are responding to an afternoon traffic accident at the intersection of North Parkway and Russell Road in Jackson. The two-vehicle accident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. when the vehicles collided in the intersection, according to EMS officials. One westbound lane of North Parkway is blocked. The drivers were the only occupants, according to EMS officials. One person has been transported to the hospital by ambulance, and the other person is uninjured.
