Newbern police to get high-tech equipment

DYER COUNTY, Tenn. — Newbern police are going high-tech with body cameras and dash cameras. City officials say $5,000 in grant money from the Governor’s Highway Safety Office will be used to buy the equipment. They are estimating the cameras should be installed within the next year.
