Fire at north Madison Co. home ruled arson

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A fire on Watt Boone Road in north Madison County has investigators searching for the person or persons responsible. The fire that occurred last Wednesday at the empty home has been determined to be the result of arson. Extensive damage has led departments to request K-9 assistance from the Tennessee State Bomb and Arson Division. Authorities do not believe this fire and the Old Medina Winery fire are connected.
