Arrests Made in Gang Saturation Event

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. – 18 people are behind bars, all arrested in different parts of Gibson County as part of a gang saturation event. 18 local, state and federal law enforcement agencies teamed up to target high crime areas in the county. The six teams conducted zero tolerance patrols looking to serve outstanding arrest warrants. The main focus of this enforcement action Friday night was an attempt to curb the Criminal Street Gang’s unlawful activities and influence in the neighborhood. They did unannounced checks on felons and unannounced checks on registered sex offenders. Arrests were made for probation violations and drug and weapons charges. 65 officers took part in the operation.
