Husband, wife plead guilty to child neglect charges

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The two Jackson parents accused of leaving their children alone for days in a home with no food pleaded guilty Thursday. Michael Bane Sr. was ordered to spend 60 days in jail and then nearly a year on probation for his three counts of child neglect. His wife, Coty Bane, was sentenced to 30 days in jail as well as probation for the same counts. Their children are 13, 10 and 9 years old. They now must appear in juvenile court to determine custody of the children.
