JACKSON, Tenn. — Sunday was the final night of what many Jackson-area pastors are calling a success. Praise in the Park hit its final note on the final Sunday of October. Churches across the city of Jackson partnered up for the entire month for public Sunday evening services. Each Sunday, crowds came together in different parks to sing, pray, and hear a message from local pastors. The final night of Praise in the Park was hosted in two parks, Muse Park and North Park. Pastors said they were thrilled with the community’s response. “We are just glad and happy that the community responded so well with coming out. To be perfectly honest, we hate to see it come to an end,” said Pastor Willie Boyle, who helped with the event. Boyle said he hopes local churches partner up to do more community events like this in the future.
