New Savannah police chief named

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — The interim police chief in Savannah told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News the city has named a new permanent chief. According to Interim Chief Terry Hosea, Gary Will Jr., currently the chief in Huron, S.D., has been named to the post and will take over Nov. 3. Hosea was named interim chief in March when Chief Donald Derr retired.
