Train has derailed on Milan arsenal property

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A train derailed Wednesday afternoon on Milan arsenal property, according to the Milan Police Department. The derailment site has been cleared and traffic on Highway 104 is no longer affected, according to armory personnel. The train involved is said to belong to the facility. Earlier, traffic was backed up on Highway 104 as a result of the derailment on the grounds of the former Milan Army Ammunition Plant, according to police.
