Woman accused of pulling off woman’s wig appears in court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson woman accused of ripping another woman’s wig from her head and threatening to beat her is free on bond. Stephanie Burdine appeared Wednesday in Jackson City Court on one count of simple assault. Earlier this month, the victim says Burdine entered an East Jackson apartment where she was visiting, argued with her and pulled her wig off and stomped it. The victim said she does not know Burdine.
