The Links, Inc. celebrates 50 years in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Links Incorporated held an event Sunday afternoon to celebrate their progress as an organization for 5 decades. Sunday’s celebration honored those that have helped the organization since they were chartered. Members say people were honored based from their five points of existence – The arts, youth, national trends and international trends and services, and health and human services. “A lot of the people that we are honoring today have served with or given services to us through those particular facets,” Vice President Margaret Rogers said. The organization was chartered November 7, 1964.
