Lane student charged with having marijuana, scales in dorm
EAST JACKSON — A Lane College student appeared in court Tuesday accused of having marijuana in his dorm room, according to court documents. Taurdarius Fleming is charged with possess with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say they found a total of about 10 grams of marijuana and two digital scales after the smell of marijuana led them to search the room. Police found a container in Fleming’s pocket containing eight individually wrapped bags of suspected marijuana and another small bag and the scales inside the dorm room, according to court documents. Fleming is being held on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 20 for a preliminary hearing.
