Brownsville Police Department increases patrols

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.–Brownsville Police said they will increase officers on patrol, after the recent deadly string of shootings. Captain Chuck Willis said the department is focused on the investigation of the five separate shootings between Sunday and Tuesday. He said that during this time officers have followed up on leads, looked over evidence, and spoke with witnesses. He said the increased presence is to ensure the safety of the city.
