Escaped McNairy Co. inmate is captured

McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — An inmate who deputies say took off with a work truck from the Selmer recycling center has been captured, according to the McNairy County Sheriff’s Department. Jimmy Chad Taylor is in custody and the stolen vehicle has been recovered, according to the department. Earlier Thursday, deputies said Taylor, a trustee, stole the truck and was believed to be headed to the Corinth, Miss., area.
