Woman in Jackson court after alleged knife threats

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman appeared Monday in Jackson City Court to face assault charges stemming from a Nov. 15 domestic disturbance. Quanterrca Roland is accused of ripping her girlfriend’s clothes off and then threatening her with a knife, according to court documents. Roland then threatened the girlfriend’s cousin with a knife when she tried to intervene, the document states. Roland is charged with aggravated domestic assault and aggravated assault. She was issued a $5,000 bond.
