Jackson grandmother accused of threatening man with gun

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson grandmother faced a judge Monday on accusations of threatening someone with a gun. Lora Ann Griffin allegedly pulled a Springfield 9mm pistol on a man after a Sunday morning argument over smoking marijuana in the house around her grandchildren, according to court documents. She reportedly told the man she would “pop him,” court papers state. A gun matching the description was later found at the home. Griffin is charged with aggravated assault. She is free on a $3,500 bond.
