One Dies In Gun Shop Blaze
A fire and explosion at a Nashville ammunition store has claimed the life of at least one person.
A Nashville Fire Department spokeswoman said firefighters discovered the body inside the business Monday afternoon but could not yet tell whether it was a man or a woman.
Police said they were called out to the scene at Well Done Bullet just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Firefighters could hear the cracking of what sounded like firecrackers going off inside after arriving at the scene. The explosion forced police to block off traffic near the shop.
The fire damaged the building so heavily that firefighters were told to get out because it was structurally unsafe. The cause of the fire and explosion is still under investigation.
