JFD Investigating Suspicious Fires

Two suspicious weekend fires within just hours of one another at vacant Hub City homes have Jackson fire investigators busy. The first was at a home on Hale Street. Around 10:45, Sunday night, a passerby called 911 after seeing smoke and flames. Then, less than two hours later, a neighbor at a home on McCowat Street called for help after smelling and seeing flames coming from the house. Firefighter said they are investigating both incidents.
