Gibson Co. Couple Charged with TennCare Fraud

Two people from Gibson County are facing charged of selling prescription drugs paid for by TennCare. Carl Turnbow,64, and Nikomus Turnbow, 33, both from Kenton were arrested following an investigation by the Office of Inspector General, Martin Police and the 27th Judicial Drug Task Force. Both are charged with one count of selling a schedule 3 controlled substance, Hydrocodone. Carl Turnbow is also charged with one count for fraud for obtaining a prescription paid for TennCare and later selling a portion of the prescription. If convicted, the two could serve up to six years behind bars.
