Jackson Jury Finds Accused Car Thief, Guilty

A Lexington man accused of stealing an SUV left running outside of a Jackson convenience store in December, was convicted of the crime, Wednesday. A jury found Brandon Shane Wooley, 36, guilty of the theft charge. Wooley also faces charges in Gibson and Henderson Counties, where he is accused of fleeing from officers who tied to stop him in the stolen vehicle. His sentencing in Madison County is set for June 20. Wooley’s co-defendant Raymond Adam Hardwick, 30 of Lavinia. previously reached a plea deal with the state.
