Madison County Storm Siren Update

The severe weather has emergency officials checking storm sirens in Madison County. According to Jackson-Madison County EMA leaders, all storm sirens are functioning except for the one atop the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Officials said they have plans to replace the siren at that location. Emergency leaders advice residents not to depend solely on storm sirens. They said to stay up to date on threatening weather conditions, you should tune to local TV and radio and to have a NOAA Weather Radio with back-up batteries.
