Jackson Police Investigate Robbery at Econo Lodge

Jackson police are searching for a group of armed suspects responsible for a carjacking and robbery outside a west Jackson motel, Thursday night. Investigators said, around 7, they were called to the Econo Lodge, along the Highway 45 By-Pass. Witnesses said, three armed white men and a white woman approached the victim, pistol whipped him and took off in his vehicle. It was recovered on Brianfield Cove. Investigators have not made an arrest, but tell us they have a person of interest they would like to speak with
