Disaster Relief Centers in West Tennessee

This video is no longer available.

Disaster Recovery Centers in the cities of Obion and Tiptonville will cease operations Friday. While the centers will close, citizens will still be able to apply for FEMA assistance, but will have to drive to other counties with DRC’s still open in order to receive assistance in person. FEMA officials encourage those who have not applied with them to do so in order to receive funds. If funds are approved they could be available in 72 hours to 10 days. So far, more than 8,000 Tennesseans have registered with FEMA for disaster assistance.
