Man Accused of N. Highland Stabbing Arraigned

The man Madison County deputies arrested in connection with a stabbing at a north Madison County motel, faced a Madison County judge, Tuesday morning. Michael Foster, 51, was officially arraigned on one charge of aggravated assault. He remains jailed in lieu of $25,000 bond. Deputies claim Foster and another man were fighting while at a north Madison County motel, Monday afternoon. Witnesses said Foster threatened the victim before stabbing him with a knife. Deputies are still investigating the cause of this incident.
