Woman Charged in East Jackson Stabbing

Jackson Police have charged the woman accused of severely stabbing her boyfriend during a fight, Tuesday morning. Police have charged Denishia Rodgers, 20, with attempted second degree murder in connection with Tuesday’s stabbing. Investigators said Rodgers is the mother of tow of three children taken from the house along Bishop Place where the incident happened. Officers said she used a kitchen knife to stab her boyfriend in the back during an argument. He is in an area hospital in critical, but stable condition.
