Humboldt PD Investigating Late Night Shooting

Humboldt Police are investigating a late night shooting that leaves one man dead. Police said they responded to a call just before midnight, Wednesday in the 1300 block of Elliot Street. When officers arrived, they found Michael Nelson Brown, 21, of Trezevant in front of a residence with a gun shot wound to the chest. Brown was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
