Dresden Man Killed in Martin Nightclub Shooting

Officers in Martin are investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead. Investigators said the shooting happened just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday inside the Hut Nut Nightclub in the 100 block of Palace Street. Officers said they responded to a disturbance call, when they arrived they found Justin Parker, 22, of Dresden bleeding from a gunshot wound on the floor. Emergency officials pronounced him dead at the scene when they arrived. According to investigators, this marks the second nightclub shooting in Martin this year.
