Resurfacing to Affect Interstate 40 Traffic

If you take Interstate 40 through Haywood County for your daily commute, here is a road construction alert you need to be aware of. Beginning this Sunday through next Thursday, TDOT crews will be milling the roadway from mile markers 43 to 45. Both the east and west bound lanes of the Interstate will be affected from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. One lane will remain open at all times. Troopers with the THP will also be along the roadside assisting with traffic control.
