TBI Investigates Brownsville PD

The Brownsville Police Department is under investigation by state agents. According to Brownsville Police Chief Chris Lea, he has asked the TBI to look into the improper disposal of what he calls “sensitive items from within the department.” However, he would not comment further on what those items were. The chief said once the TBI concludes its investigation, he will be able to release more information.
