Men accused of threatening Liberty students to see grand jury

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Two men police say threatened two students from Liberty Technology Magnet High School will now have their case heard by a grand jury. On Thursday, Julian Wilson’s and Randy Montgomery’s cases were waived to the grand jury. Montgomery’s bond was also dropped to $20,000. After a two-car accident Oct. 22, the students saw Montgomery had a pistol in his pocket, and they left the scene because they thought it was the safe thing to do, according to police. That is when police said Montgomery and Wilson followed and threatened the students with guns.
