Man leads officers on foot chase, tazed

JACKSON, Tenn. — Officers tazed a man in West Jackson Saturday night after he failed to cooperate with them. Jackson Police said a man was traveling down Old Hickory Boulevard around 6 p.m. Saturday night when an officer conducted a traffic stop. When Jackson Police approached the man, officials said he bailed out of his vehicle and led police on a short foot chase. Police said they then tazed him and later took him into custody. The suspect is charged with having a revoked license, evading arrest, resisting arrest, and possible narcotics charges.
